In 1997 Ohio design was started and at that time home-based businesses were just beginning to take off and the potential was enormous.  Over the years our company has evolved much like Penny has.  Ohio Design has grown and changed into a wonderful being that loves to bring joy to the lives of people that together we can touch.  Among the many ventures that we are a part of, making sacred tools is a passion, actually a healthy obsession that we can’t get enough of.   We make products with purpose.  Not just jewelry, anyone can do that.  We make tools that enhance your life and make you look great while you are doing it.  Each jewelry piece is hand made with a specific intention to support a positive aspect of your life.  They will support you while you love, heal, hide, cry, laugh, long and inspire.  These pieces reflect a higher self, a beautiful occurrence; the one that happened the day of your birth – the occurrence of your beautiful, wonder-filled life.  

Penny is an award winning author, sacred tool designer, an environmental designer and the original founder of Ohio Design Inc. Today, she is Director of Education and founder of Quality Life Workshops ™ and their National Spokesperson. Her newest venture is owner of the Penny Crabtree Company that took place when she moved her business across the country to be closer to her daughter. You would think that keeps her busy enough -  but a few years ago Penny went back to school; now she is a PhD candidate and a happy one at that!
